Description
Part-time, 2 day a week, permanent position! Ideal schedule is Monday and Thursday, but some flexibility is available. The right candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, possessing strong bookkeeping skills and payroll processing experience, as well as a working knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Office .

Duties

Issue payroll checks and provide payroll summary reports
Accounts payable - receive/enter bills, pay vendors, related cash flow management
Accounts receivable - send invoices via mail, manage customer contact list, issue statements when needed, conduct credit checks
Perform account reconciliations; money transfers
Create/manage budget & cash flow reports
Manage employee records
Conduct raw material inventory in ERP system (training provided)
Answer incoming calls, send thank you/holiday notes to customers, manage customer information
Requirements
Solid bookkeeping skills with proficiency in QuickBooks
Working knowledge of MS Office programs
Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial concepts.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent customer relations skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus!

Description
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to work for an organization that gives back to its community? BASS is recruiting a Part-Time Accounting Assistant for our client, a local non-profit! This role provides day-to-day support in the administrative, accounting, finance, and budgeting work of the organization.

This position is 16-20 hours per week; Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8am-4:30pm, and possibly Fridays, 8am-12pm. Pay is $20-25/hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

-Receives, scans, and prepares accounting records weekly for coding.

-Support bank and credit card reconciliations.
-Help prepare internal financial reports and assist in audit preparation.
-Work closely with the Staff Accountant and Program Managers to ensure compliance with financial policies.
Requirements
-2+ years of relevant experience; or Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
-Experience in non-profits or financial services preferred.
-Experience with accounting software required; QuickBooks Online preferred.
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Must meet background check requirements.

The BASS team is recruiting an experienced Payroll/HR Specialist for our client, a local manufacturing business. Lots of variety in this position! You will ensure the timely flow of all payroll information, as well as assist with various HR related duties.

The typical schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Starting pay $24-25/hr, depending on experience. Our client offers benefits once evaluation requirements are met.

Some duties include:

-Maintain all payroll data collection systems and verify input data
-Verify deductions for all associate benefit programs; code and approve invoices for payment
-Prepare weekly payroll reports
-Maintain employment forms and personnel files

Position will entail:
All aspects of processing bi-weekly payroll - producing reports, recording payroll cash-out and preparing journal entries
